Currently Loving: SS Print Shop

Today I thought I'd feature one of my favourite bloggers of the moment: Stephanie Sterjovski. Not only is she incredibly stylish and creative, but her prints are perfection! I'd been after them for months and so I finally decided to place an order, seeing as how I convinced my mom that a gallery wall is just what we need to jazz up our empty wall!

SS Print Shop has tons of gorgeous prints at different price points and there is honestly something for everyone. Whether you want to make a subtle statement in black and white, or you want some fun to jazz up your space, she's got it all. I ordered two prints including one from her #LoveLettersFromGod Collection which I love. It's so great to see people spreading joy and sharing the goodness of God!

Right now is the perfect time to take a look through her site because there are tons of prints on sale, including one that I just bought (pictured above). Plus, she just did a collab with another talented blogger/photographer, Carin Olsson of Paris in Four Months, and the prints they came up with are incredible. The perfect thing to either get you inspired by Paris or bring back fond memories of past trips.

If you're looking for prints to add a bit of flair to a gallery wall, you definitely need to check out SS Print Shop!

Decor Inspiration: Room Renovation

A little preview of what's to come!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a fantastic week. I'm back at school this week after a work
filled Reading Week and am currently highly sleep deprived due to the fact that I have 3 midterms in the span of 3 days.... oh joy! In order to not bore you any longer with my very sad academic life I thought I'd share some inspiration pictures that I'm using to guide the redecorating process for my bedroom. I've started off with some adjustments to my desk area already which I showed a sneak peek of on my Instagram account. I'm getting super excited and my room looks better already.

For a long while I was stuck on painting all of my furniture white because I love the clean look of all white furniture but after seeing pictures of bedroom with dark wood pieces I think I'll be staying with the colour of wood that I have right now. I think as long as I keep as many elements in my room light and airy, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe throwing in a different coloured headboard or swapping my night stands for smaller, white ones would also add a fun, eclectic touch!

So far the idea is to keep my room centred around light dusty rose, cream and whites and adding in gold (and black for balance) accents. I want the feel of my room to be girly, fun and a little glam while still having a more traditional feel with the dark wood furniture. I love that country cottage feel without going too grandma but I also want to have a good balance of glam so that it feels more like me. Right now I'm mostly on the hunt for little accent pieces here and there that'll add some character and pops of colour, as well as different ways of filling up bare walls without going overboard with a bunch of paintings (suggestions are needed!).

So there's a quick update on my redecorating process. Hopefully I'll wrap up the process and be able to share some detailed pictures of how my room turned out. But for now, I'm hitting the books and getting as much sleep as I can fit in. I'm praying God helps me through because this weekend is looking promising. Keep up with me on Instagram by the way... it's a really fun way of connecting with readers and other bloggers! (link is on the menu bar, my social media icon bar and my instagram feed widget so choose one haha!) Praying you have a great week and are just as excited for the weekend as I am. Lots of love!

One of my favourite things about Pinterest is how much inspiration you can find. I love looking through all of the Home Decor pins to see if I can grab some ideas to make my room feel a bit more personalized. It's great to create a space that's your own, where you can obviously sleep but also have some quiet time to read the Word or pray or just sit there to feel the peace God is already offering to you. It's like a sanctuary and we should definitely treat it as such! I'm currently making a few updates to my room since I actually haven't done anything special to it since we moved in almost a year ago! I think I'm going for a cream, dusty rose and gold theme. I'm pretty excited plus it gives me a reason to try out different things I see on Pinterest ;)

Desk Sprucing

Since I moved into my new room a few months back, I've been wanting to change up the decor! Needless to say, I haven't gotten to it yet... So far it's looking pretty bare but I'm hoping to add some prints to the wall where my desk is sitting and maybe even do a DIY bulletin board (if I do, I'll share the process with y'all). Here's what it looks like so far!
I'm hoping to maybe paint my desk white or cover the top with a cream and gold decorative paper and secure it with a mirrored glass piece over it. Here is some inspiration I've found off Pinterest that I've loved!

My theme I've decided on so far is light rose, cream and gold accents. I do really love some navy in the mix, but we shall see. And I'm dying to add a monogram or two (or five..) around my room!

Did you say Indigo?

Instagram is one of my favourite social media sites because users are so creative with their photos and there is inspiration everywhere you look. Recently, I stumbled upon @stephsterjovski and noticed that her beautiful prints are available at Indigo. Now, is it just me or was I the only one who associated Indigo/Chapters with books and nothing else? While out and about I decided to step into the store to check it out and I was left quite surprised at the gorgeous offerings in their style and home section!

Indigo has a dazzling selection of accessories and they are perfect to spice up any outfit for the holidays. Below are some of my absolute favourite things (hurry, some are on sale!)
Cara Metallic Collar Necklace // Crystal Marquee Necklace -Fuchsia  // Scalloped Bangle Light Blue // Thin Bow Bangle - Black // Pyramid Bangle - Pink
Indigo has a good offering of Stephanie's prints in stock which are definitely on my wishlist! Sadly, not all of her prints are available (at least on the site) but if you got to her shop it should not be a problem! The best thing about these prints is that they reflect such a positive outlook on life and the love of Christ! LOVE!
Glam // Happy Thoughts // God Is Good // Salt and Light
Last but certainly not least, I discovered a whole bunch of Kate Spade NY items in store and I was so excited! Living in Canada can sometimes make things you see on social media hard to access but thanks to Indigo, we can all get our fix of KSNY! I fell in love with the glitter coasters, how cute will they be for Christmas parties and my obsession with organizational/school supplies is borderline psychotic so you know I need that agenda!
Paper Tape Set // Glitter Coaster Set // Cold Hands Warm Heart Thermal Mug // Glasses 2014 Agenda
There you have it! If you didn't know how cool Chapters Indigo was, then you know now! Stop by and check it out :)
